Local wall and ceiling construction business has an opening for an experienced estimator in the wall and ceiling trade.
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience with computer generated estimating,
- Successfully completed the Building Technology Course at BCIT (or equivalent)
- The ability to review & analyze tender & contract documentations
- A full understanding of the construction process from planning to completion
- An extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook
- A complete understanding of the tender process
- An excellent skill in time management
- Clear and to the point writing skills, well spoken and exceptional phone manners
- Estimate compared to actual costs reports of past projects
- References of either past employment or project related (will be contacted)
- Some project management skills also required
